Boston Public Garden has been one of my favorite places to shoot for quite some time. At any point in the year, you can see the smiling faces of Bostonians walking through the park and children playing by the Make Way for Ducklings statues facing Beacon Hill.
I met Nicole when she was a bridesmaid in another wedding I photographed about a year and a half ago. Two days before Christmas, I met up with her and her fiance Tom for their engagement session. The weather couldn’t have been better. A crisp December day (not too cold!) mixed with a little holiday cheer is enough to put anybody in a good mood! Nicole + Tom were wonderful to work with, even if one of them (ahem, TOM) needed a little coaxing to smile… talking about his mom’s homemade pierogie’s and their honeymoon plans to Hawaii were definitely enough to get some sweet smiles and natural laughter out of both of them.
N+T:
Can’t wait for your Fall wedding!! Woot!

Oh, hi.
Photographer. Professional hype girl. Occasional bad influence. I've spent the last 15 years photographing women and proving that being “photogenic” has a whole lot less to do with you, and a whole lot more to do with who's behind the camera.
Enjoyed viewing Nicole and Tom’s photos at Boston Garden.
I love these! And those little ducks in a row! <3
I LOVE the Public Garden! These are so cute! Engagements are so fun. I wish I could talk all of my couples into doing them!
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Thank you!
ah, my pleasure Nicole!!
These are such beautiful photos!
Awww!! what a happy day! And, I remember seeing those ducks when I was in 6th grade- I haven’t seen them since! I have to say they look much cuter with the Santa hats.
