What motivated you to want to do a boudoir session?
I worked incredibly hard in 2018 to regain happiness after a tremendous loss. I focused on self care in a lot of ways; my thoughts, my intentions and how I was feeding my body. I was so happy with my progress by the end of the year that I used this session as a reward and to capture a time in my life where I felt like I was at a high.
What were you most nervous/excited/worried about coming into your session?
Surprisingly, I wasn’t nervous about the session even though it was far outside of my comfort zone and unlike anything I’ve ever done before. I was mostly worried about choosing the best pieces of lingerie to wear to complement my body. Ha!
How did you feel during your session, was there any part that stood out the most to you and why?
Kay was so fun to sit with for a couple of hours while I got ready – she helped break the ice and make things comfortable. When Michele arrived, it was jokes right off the bat and we had a good time. Michele makes you feel very comfortable and that it’s completely a judgement free zone.
What were your thoughts/feelings leaving your session?
I was so excited to see the images – I had so much confidence about what they might look like. That was probably one of the best things I have ever done for myself. It resonated with me on a true happiness level; I did the session solely for me and that made all the difference from my perspective.
Any other things you want to share about your experience to other ladies who may be wondering what a boudoir session is like?
If you’re thinking about it, do it! There is nothing to fear and it’s actually a lot of fun. You’ll be so blown away by the images and it elevates your confidence to a new level. You’ll thank yourself and if you have anyone to share the images with, they’ll thank you too. Ha!

It sounds cliche, but 10 years from now, you'll look back at photos of you from now and tell yourself how beautiful you were. How wonderful would it be to see yourself and appreciate yourself as you are TODAY, right now?
