I absolutely love Autumn Engagements.

Autumn is the busiest time of year for most New England photographers. So many couples choose to get married or engaged this time of year, and my days begin to fill up shooting beautiful fall engagements and weddings exploding with red, orange, and yellow autumn colors.

Shauna is such a sweetheart, and has been following our photography since our early days when Andy and I were Normand Ashley Photography. I’m not sure how we connected, but we did awhile back. She is also a photographer and was even assisting with me earlier this year. When she got engaged a few months ago and reached out, I couldn’t have been more thrilled.

The wind was out of control on the day of their engagement. It tossed Shauna’s beautifully done hair all around, but to me, beauty lies within these things we call imperfect. Shauna and Rick both looked absolutely stunning, and it helped that Rick is a huge jokester and ham for the camera. They both did amazingly well.

I’ve lived just outside of Worcester for over 4 years now, and I was so grateful when Shauna and Rick agreed to take one car around the city- I honestly don’t know if I could have navigated myself! They were both full of great laughs and smiles the entire session through, and that alone, is a huge success.
