I work all week from home, between the 3 E’s (Editing, Emails, and Engagements!) and of course, weekend weddings- I tend to take a week day and use it as a field trip for my 7-year old and I. If you live in Massachusetts (or anywhere near Boston), I highly recommend getting an annual pass to the Boston Science Museum. The museum itself is wonderful and in a great location (it literally sits between Boston and Cambridge) right on the Charles River. My family and I visit often and get our money’s worth. The pass is also wonderful, because the museum partners with other museums and zoos to offer reciprocal admission. So for example, we use our pass to go to the Worcester Ecotarium and the Roger William Zoo in Providence. It can be used at so many locations all over the country, we used it at the Franklin Institute when we were in Philadelphia.
As you can tell, we LOVE our pass. Last week we drove in to Boston and enjoyed the museum. Then walked around Cambridge, grabbing ice-cream at Lizzy’s and stopping in to the World’s Only Curious George Store.
I certainly cherish every moment I get to spend with my family, and these “Mommy-Boose Dates” as we like to call them, are some of my absolute faves.

It sounds cliche, but 10 years from now, you'll look back at photos of you from now and tell yourself how beautiful you were. How wonderful would it be to see yourself and appreciate yourself as you are TODAY, right now?
The photos were awesome until I got to the bugs!!!! But seriously, it is important to make sure you are still making memories while being an awesome mom boss!
Oh my goodness- looks like you guys are having so much fun and loving your summer!!!
What an awesome place for kids to attend. 🙂 Love it!
What a great idea! I should have a date day with each kid during the week =] The summer goes by so fast and you don’t even realize it! The Boston science museum looks pretty cool too!
This looks like sooooo much fun!!
