The Calm in What I Do

Life has been so busy.

June has been beautiful- filled with friends, engagements, weddings, and family. Every week has been filled to the brim, and lately while shooting, I’ve been taking a few moments just for me. Just to admire the beauty around me, and appreciate what it is I get to do with my life. Quiet moments like this. There’s a calmness to it, and sometimes I snap the moment, other times I just take it in.

In the words of Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.”

  1. Life has been so crazy here too! But I totally know what you mean Michele, I did my first double header last week but the night before my first one my husband and I just laid outside and star watched. It was probably my favorite moment from this summer. it was the most peacefully I have been in what feels like a long time. <3

Finding the calm is probably what is most important in navigating life ❤️

  3. SO true! Thank you for the reminder – it’s so easy to just let life be something that happens to you instead of taking it all in.

  4. Ashley says:

I love this picture, and I can totally relate. I have to remind myself daily to take a second and just breathe and enjoy each moment. ☺️

  5. Valerie says:

    Such a good reminder!

It sounds cliche, but 10 years from now, you'll look back at photos of you from now and tell yourself how beautiful you were. How wonderful would it be to see yourself and appreciate yourself as you are TODAY, right now?
