Being a wedding photographer allows me to capture a glimpse of a couples life. When I met with Katrina (and her sister Tabby and Tabby’s 2 beautiful daughters) I was immediately drawn to her. Her (then) fiance was studying for the Step 1 USMLE (which is med school talk for a major, and very important exam medical students take towards the end of their second year). And when she told me why I wasn’t going to meet Nate until the wedding, my jaw dropped. Andy was at the exact same point in his schooling as Nathan was… so I knew exactly what this couple had on their plate and I couldn’t believe they were also planning a summer wedding!

The more I learned about Katrina and Nate, the more I fell in love with their story.

Katrina and Nate have been together since high school (which you KNOW I LOVE!), and to sweeten it even more, they went to the same high school as Andy and I did! When Nate finally asked Katrina out, he failed to show up! That’s ok…
