A note from Michele: Christi is a beautiful, sweet soul who recently came into the studio to celebrate herself after finalizing her divorce. I had a blast getting to know her and capturing her radiance through my lens. Her strength and resilience shone through every image, a true testament to the new beginnings that await her!

Q: How did you hear about Michele and what made you decide to book a session?

A: I am on the Betches of Boston on Facebook and I saw a post where someone was inquiring about the best boudoir photographer in the area. It was something I had always wanted to do (for over 20 years actually) and I said to myself, this is it! I’m going to research the photographers listed and make an appointment with one. Well after comparing you to the others it was an obvious choice. Your studio is amazing, your props, the quality of your photos, your ideas. All amazing.

Q: What was your initial reason for booking?

A: I have always wanted to have professional sexy pictures of myself taken while I’m still feeling young and hot! My divorce was finalized in December and I decided what better gift to give myself than pictures that make me feel beautiful, empowered, strong, feminine, hot, independent, and sexy.

Q: Did you have any expectations going into the shoot?

A: I had no idea what to expect. I hadn’t had my hair or makeup done since my wedding in 2014 so I was open to just going for it. I didn’t know how comfortable I’d feel and how effortless it would be with you talking me through each pose. It was so easy and I just went for it, I also had no idea how the photos would turn out but I couldn’t have been more impressed!

Q: What was it like seeing your images for the first time?

A: I was anxiously awaiting my photo reveal. I was thrilled with how amazing I looked and I loved the quality of the photos. As a photographer and graphic designer myself, I was impressed with the lighting, the composition, and I loved the angles you shot from. It definitely gave me an ego boost and I couldn’t wait to share them with some certain people 😉

Q: What products did you purchase and why?

A: I ended up purchasing the complete digital package. I liked almost all of them and I also liked them in both color and black and white. Even though a lot of the products you offer were amazing I thought it would be smart to own all the images so I could order those products or similar ones on my own.

Q: How has boudoir impacted the way you feel about yourself or your body?

A: My boudoir photos are a quiet little thing I carry with me and I enjoy looking back at them. I’m happy I did this for myself because it takes confidence to do something like this and it reiterates my new divorced motto in life- YOLO. I think sex, being sexy, and feeling sexy are all so important. Being a 43 year old mom and feeling hotter than ever is something I’m grateful to feel. These pictures are of me bringing my self confidence to the next level and documenting it. Owning my beauty and my body is so freeing.

Q: Would you recommend Michele Ashley as a luxury boudoir experience to others?

A: I would recommend Michele Ashley 100 times over! It was such an easy, laid back, fun, creative experience and I enjoyed every minute of it. Your vision is amazing and you make the entire experience enjoyable. You are so talented!! I hope to get back into the studio with you in the near future to do another set of photos with different props and different lingerie.

Q: What advice would you give to someone who is considering doing a boudoir session with Michele?

A: I honestly don’t really have any tips to give- you made it so easy, step by step. My one piece of advice would be to bring some hot high heels! Priceless 🙂

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to add to your interview?

A: I’m so happy I found you! I’ve seen some other boudoir photos and yours are of a much higher quality in my opinion. You manage to mix sex with class and that’s not always easy to do, so I’ve seen. I’m forever grateful for my experience with Michele Ashley.
