I met Rory’s mom Stephanie two years ago when she contacted me to do her daughter Ryan’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash. Now, two years later, her youngest daughter Rory turns one, and we are smashing some cakes again!
If you love the pretty details from this shoot, check out the people that created them! Stephanie handcrafts all sorts of pretty things for tots- be sure to check out her Etsy Shop, The Dandelion Lane!

It sounds cliche, but 10 years from now, you'll look back at photos of you from now and tell yourself how beautiful you were. How wonderful would it be to see yourself and appreciate yourself as you are TODAY, right now?
what a FUN session! love these sweet, adorable images!
Those cheeks! She is such a cutie! Love how you can capture every emotion. Beautiful!
Looks like everyone had fun… and great photos to help remember the day.
How fun! You captured some great shots! I like the, “it’s my party and I’ll (almost) cry if I want to” look on her face in the one image. What adorable little girls, and a fun idea! Thanks for sharing!
Oh I love the little tent and their headbands! Such a fun session!
Oh my heart! SO cute!!! I can tell you love doing these One Years and they look like a load of fun beside all the sass coming from her in one of the photos! All I can see is “Why did you take my cake?!” I would be the same way girl!
Happy Birthday to the little one!
